“My course tutor delivered some great feedback to me on each of my assignments, which gave me some excellent structure for writing more formal pieces for publishing.”

I enrolled in the Ultimate Travel Journalism Course because I had written a number of travel photo-journals over the past 7 years and I had a real passion for it. I really had no idea what to expect other than I was curious as to whether this was something that would enhance my enjoyment of writing.

My course tutor delivered some great feedback to me on each of my assignments, which gave me some excellent structure for writing more formal pieces for publishing. He suggested that my style was strongly suited to a blog so that’s what I have done! Please feel free to visit and share www.isowilson.com.

With a bit of help from a “geek” on Airtasker I was able to get it done quickly and I have started uploading all my work, as well as all my photos. Whether I can actually make any money from it is inconsequential as it has been so much fun. I imagine that if I do pitch for a commission job, the blog will at least give me some credibility for any inquisitive editor to look at.

Thanks to my tutor and MJA for a great course. Highly recommended.
